Well my sophomore year, I was a part of
the first-ever installment of the Dyson Scholars in Residence program. The Dyson
Scholars and residence program is a living-learning community open to all
Dyson students. It is a community where you take a class together and you also
all live in the same section on the fourth floor of Elm Hall, but the best
part of that program was forging relationships with the students. My most
rewarding experience here at Pace has been being head delegate of our Model
United Nations team for the last year. You go to a conference every semester.
We’ve done Washington DC, New York City, Atlanta, Georgia, and because I’ve done
Model UN I have made so many friends from all over the world when we do
international conferences and I know that if I’m ever in Italy I can always
have a couch to sleep on.
