  1. I was watching MSNBC this morning and their so called political expert said that people voting for a socialist from Vermont shows what bad shape Joe Biden and the others are in. So now even the liberal media is campaigning against Sanders. That was a slap of cold water in the face to wake me up this morning.

  2. Sanders went from 152,000 votes in 2016 and got 75,000 votes in 2020. Where did they go and why did they leave him? It was not a repeat performance of 2016. He is in freefall, though he may pull it out.

  3. U know how u beat Trump? Address's the economic issues that made ppl vote for him in the first place. Being "moderate" has given us nothing but an angry Dem base & a trump presidency. God CNN is so outta touch. Since they're wealthy and powerful all they care about is "beating Trump." Bernie is the antidote. These DNC shills are hated by the Dem base & they don't realize it.

  4. @CNN," "Great Idea, Not the Right Time". They are READING these comments. THEY KNOW the public conversation. THEY STILL downplay the movement. We haven't even got to their main talking point. "Great Idea, Not the Right Time". Keep sharp.

  5. WuFlu for You

We got *200* possible WuFlu cases in Georgia USA. The patients are self monitoring and the health department is monitoring. To learn more Google WuHan virus in Georgia.
Notice how I, and NOT the MSM brought this to you.
Fvkc You MSM, real News will not be silenced.

  6. C'mon! Bernie, as you stated, has a MOVEMENT behind him! How can you question his electability when he keeps WINNING???
Who will win in Trump vs Sanders…?
    Look at polling!
GOOD (Bernie) will prevail over EVIL (Trump & Co.)!
If the Dems put up Corporate Dem, Mayor Pete, Trump will eat him alive!
MEDIA & DNC NEED TO TAKE A SEAT

  7. Trump 2020.four new year's.maybe eight.he should be given a chance to take back the last 4 the dumocunts tried to screw up.imagine what he'd do without being constantly being pestered by a bunch o 6 year olds.fuk u nuncy duncy….

  8. As a conservative Democrat Sanders may win the Democratic nomination ,but because of socialist tag I really don't think you'll beat trump.

  10. Iowa and New Hampshire no longer matter since Bernie won. What will matter is the Nevada, when we rig the cacuses to make sure Bernie loses this time.

  11. I am really curious if the news anchors on CNN, like this turd, realize they are corporate puppets spouting a dying agenda? I don't think some of them do. Though I do see Cuomo waking up finally, and realizing that those questions in his ear they force him to say really aren't benefitting anyone but the Clintons / corporations / billionaires.

  12. Very weak story. At the time of the chart shown Bernie had 26% and the next two moderates had 44.1%. Hardly an overwhelming victory for Bernie's ideas. Even if you add in the Warren and Bidden portions, the result is about the same.

  13. The socialist rhetoric getting attached to Bernie surprises me, because this is a campaign for achieving a true democracy in this country, not socialist – since the former can't really exist entirely without a hybrid of the latter, anyway. (Republican Teddy Roosevelt was the first President to prove that at the dawn of the 20th century when he initiated measures to dismantle the monopolies). It's the first real effort to take the electorate away from the corporate oligarchs and genuinely give the nationwide majority of voters say on the direction of the country. The National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, in which a state pledges its electoral votes to whoever wins the Popular Vote. Empowerment by the Popular. Anyone who opposes that is simply conceding that he DOESN'T really believe in democracy. Well and good, but then what is the point of the "by the People, for the People" clause in the Constitution?

  14. Don't forget Trump told his cult to dilute the vote. Bernie more likely had a bigger win.
Glad to see you aren't doing the MSM theme…Bernie wins but they call him the loser, cooperating with Dems rigging the primaries…again, as a Clinton 2016 redux.

  15. Fox is the propaganda arm of the Republican party, MSNBC is the propaganda arm of the Democratic party, and CNN is the propaganda arm of the Corporations. There's no free speech, only what the rich want you to think

  16. First off medicare is not free but Sanders won't tell you that, second , a lot of doctors won't even take medicare, third the government will ration health care under Bernie's plan, fourth that means you can only go to the doctor the government picks for you, fifth do you think the government is going to give you the top notch expensive doctor or the dirt cheap doctor ?..Have you ever heard of the V.A.? I rest my case

  17. For the educationally ignorant (lacking knowledge or awareness in general)

–SOCIALISM: In the broadest possible sense, socialism is an economic system where the means of production are socially owned. The “means of production" being the raw materials, factories, and machines used to make goods.

–This is as opposed to capitalism, where the means of production are privately owned.

–What “socially owned" means is another question entirely. The most popular answer in the 20th century was "owned by the government"; this is called state socialism. There are a variety of other approaches, some of which don't include the state at all. These often involve cooperatives, worker-owned businesses, or communes.

–DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM: is the model that is currently getting the most attention. It calls for the means of production to be socially owned, and that this ownership incorporates large amounts of democratic management. This typically includes things like worker's cooperatives or publicly owned enterprises that both workers and consumers help manage.

–As the name suggests, this model demands political democracy and opposes authoritarian socialist movements. It also explicitly rejects the Soviet system of governance and economics.

–SOCIAL DEMOCRACY: IS TECHNICALLY A CAPITALIST SYSTEM that leaves the means of production in private hands but assures that regulations, some public control of the economy, and extensive entitlements exist to keep everybody at a decent standard of living. This is often identified with the Nordic model, but most western democracies have had social democratic governments at some point in the last century.

–Since BERNIE SANDERS has no interest in”seizing the means of production” THIS IS WHAT BERNIE SANDERS ACTUALLY IS. Most progressives in the United States, such as Elizabeth Warren, are social democrats in practice. In the same way, progressive organizations are essentially social democratic ones.

–NATIONAL SOCIALISM: This is the Nazi ideology. The 'national' part designates it as separate from international socialism, which hoped to unite the global working class. Democratic socialist movements are typically international in this way, making Nazism opposed to them.

–The socialism part is complicated. The original Nazi Party platform called for nationalization, social welfare programs, land reform, a guaranteed standard of living, and profit sharing. Official rhetoric blamed supposedly Jewish dominated big business for the Great Depression.

–As soon as the Nazis were in power, they decided they liked big business, dissolved trade unions, reduced social welfare, tied farmers to the land, and privatized parts of the economy. Regulations were stepped up to assure that companies followed government programs, but on the whole, the anti-capitalist elements fo the party platform were forgotten.

–The Nazis were also anti-communist because of their opposition to equality, class conflict, and social ownership of the means of production. They crushed the left at the first chance they got.

–This combination of ideas may seem strange, but fascism is a peculiar ideology that allows for add combination of ideas. Nazism is typically viewed not as a socialist ideology but as a fascist one, and people claiming that the democratic socialists endorse the same policies as Nazis are mistaken.

–People who support this ideology are Nazis.

This is the “Socialism” that Donald Trump supports.

Donald Trump 'kept book of Adolf Hitler's speeches in his bedside cabinet' [TheIndependent]

COMMUNSIM: is two things. The word is most commonly used to refer to the political ideology associated with the USSR. That ideology, officially called Marxism-Leninism, favors a dictatorship of the proletariat, state control of the economy, and a society organized toward removing the remnants of capitalism.

There are, however, a hundred strains of communism and a thousand significant figures who would protest this definition of communism. These people argue that what the USSR did wasn’t really communism, that everything was great until Stalin showed up, or even that Russia didn’t go far enough.

Communism is also the name for a hypothetical society that comes after the final socialist revolution when classes, the state, and money have faded away. Communist parties and governments are, at least in theory, working to create this society.

All communists are socialists since they want social ownership of means of production, but not all socialists are communists since they might not support the Soviet model or think the utopian society is possible. This distinction is important but often missed.

  18. LMFAO. Trump has been nothing but successful, and you want to replace him with an 80 year old socialist nutbag who wants open borders, higher taxes, and thinks everything is going to be free for everyone.

    GTFO. 😂😂😂😂😂

  19. Apparently winning isn’t enough to convince these idiots that Bernie is most capable of beating Trump. Because according to CNN it’s Amy Cloud-boot-jar who’s more electable since she was able to pull off 3rd place.

The only reason Bernie didn’t dominate as much as 2016 is because the field is narrower with more candidates for voters to choose from (or be confused by) 😆

  20. Bernie won N.H. too? Wow! That’s wonderful! It’s almost as if the American people know what they want more than you do….go figure. The first guy was great. He was enthusiastic and gave the polls as they were without caveats.

  21. If sanders becomes president, you can expect.
    Health coverage for all.
Open borders, which will bring millions looking for free healthcare.
Erase student debt, which means every taxpayer shares that specific debt. This excludes immigrants.

Did you not find it bizarre that he declared victory before the count was in? Was he so sure of his cheating app? Did any of you question it before going along with BootyBoy's false claim???
If NH has open primaries, include Trump's cult for anti-Bernie votes.
Don't forget the corrupt DNC and status quo Dems want Trump and are scared to death of Bernie, and are using that court ruling that said the DNC can rig as much as they like for who they want, because they do not have to answer to voters.
Bernie's lag is CORRUPT RIGGING. Bernie is the ONLY one who can beat Trump.
    You destroyed your momentary integrity.

  24. Wake-up call to passionate Bernie supporters– There are a lot of people who do not like Trump but are "never Bernie" voters. I probably know as many of them as I know "no matter who, vote Blue" voters. So if Bernie wins the nomination but loses to Trump will you feel vindicated? The best thing that could have happened this cycle would have been for Biden and Bernie to stay home. Many people who want to vote against Trump are also doing "OK" under Trump. How is Bernie going to pull them over? I don't see it.

(Recall, Putin backed Bernie in 2016, and there are Republicans calling for cross-over primary support for Bernie… they think he is more beatable. Just sayin'.)

  25. Seeing how terrified The Corporate is about Bernie just indicates how corrupt and crooked the American government has become since the Citizens United decision 10 years ago. We have corporate billionaire businessmen owning and running the government for their own greed and profit.

  26. Trump’s proposed $4.8 trillion budget will seek cuts to Medicare, Medicaid [WallStreetJournal]

    https://www.marketwatch.com/story/trumps-proposed-48-trillion-budget-will-seek-cuts-to-medicare-medicaid-2020-02-09

The White House proposes to cut spending by $4.4 trillion over a decade. Of that, it targets $2 trillion in savings from mandatory spending programs, including $130 billion from changes to Medicare prescription-drug pricing, $292 billion from safety-net cuts — such as work requirements for Medicaid and food stamps — and $70 billion from tightening eligibility access to federal disability benefits.

  27. Trump Is Wrong Suggesting Social Security Cuts. It Needs Expanding [Forbes]

    https://www.forbes.com/sites/christianweller/2020/01/28/trump-is-wrong-suggesting-social-security-cuts-it-needs-expanding/#36e58894f394

Donald Trump, pressed on federal budget deficits during a recent TV interview, suggested that, despite his campaign promise “not to touch Social Security,” he is considering cutting Social Security in a second term, if re-elected. He ultimately walked back that suggestion in a tweet. In the interview, Trump seemed to imply that because he has made America so prosperous, Americans do not Social Security and Medicare as much. In fact, while the very wealthiest Americans had a record $26.7 million (in 2019 dollars) in September 2019, average wealth for many Americans remains below the levels seen twenty years earlier. Half of all working-age families will have to make painful cuts to their spending when they retire because they don’t have enough savings. Targeted expansions of Social Security benefits, instead of cuts, would make a crucial difference for struggling American families.

  28. I don't like the question . Do you want someone who can beat trump or someone you agree with. As if they're mutually exclusive.

  29. Russia’s State TV Calls Trump Their ‘Agent’ [TheDailyBeast]
    https://www.thedailybeast.com/russias-state-tv-calls-trump-their-agent

–Sometimes a picture doesn’t have to be worth a thousand words. Just a few will do. As Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov returned home from his visit with President Donald Trump in the Oval Office last week, Russian state media were gloating over the spectacle. TV channel Rossiya 1 aired a segment entitled “Puppet Master and ‘Agent’—How to Understand Lavrov’s Meeting With Trump.”

–Vesti Nedeli, a Sunday news show on the same network, pointed out that it was Trump, personally, who asked Lavrov to pose standing near as Trump sat at his desk. It’s almost the literal image of a power behind the throne.

    https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-10-08/senate-intelligence-panel-warns-russian-meddling-continues

Kremlin-directed operatives opened champagne when Donald Trump won the presidency in 2016, according to a communication disclosed in a new Senate Intelligence Committee report outlining Russia’s sweeping social media efforts to help him win. “We uncorked a tiny bottle of champagne … took one gulp each and looked into each other’s eyes …. We uttered almost in unison: ‘We made America great,’” one operative at the St. Petersburg-based Internet Research Agency said in the message obtained by the Republican-led committee.

  31. Why the GOP are bed with the Trump… Russian Money. They are all traitors.

–Legal Experts Say Attorney General's Ties to Russia Are Troubling [newsweek]

–Barr’s public financial disclosure report, he admits to working for the law firm Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he was counsel from March 2017 until he was confirmed as attorney general in February 2019, represented Russia’s Alfa Bank. (Barr earned more than $1 million at Kirkland) and for a company whose co-founders allegedly have long-standing business ties to Russia. What’s more, he received dividends [$5,001 to $15,000 in dividends] from Vector Group, a holding company with deep financial ties to Russia.

–Questions have also been raised about whether Och-Ziff Capital Management, a hedge fund where Barr was a board director from 2016 to 2018, may also be too closely connected to the Russia investigation.

–The billionaire Ziff brothers, Dirk, Robert and Daniel, provided seed money to hedge fund manager Daniel Och to start the firm in 1992. They retained a small stake in the company after it went public in 2007.

–The brothers are also a subject of interest to the Russian government because of their work with billionaire William Browder, a financier who ran afoul of the Kremlin.

–Mitch McConnell reportedly linked to Putin, Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska and Russian companies [DailyKos]

–Right now, the point being made is that Mitch McConnell is benefiting from his direct and indirect ties to Putin and Russian oligarchs, which most likely guided McConnell’s recent vote to lift Russian sanctions. And it would seem he clearly voted in the interest of himself, his king and his Russian ties, when McConnell should have been working in the best interest of the American people. Alas, his Senate seat and constituents are merely stepping stones to more corruption.

–Many have suspected for some time that smirky McConnell was looped into the Russian knot one way or another. Watching the GOP leader defend and cling to Trump like a tick, has been difficult and disturbing to witness for over two years. Will this news get us closer to McConnell’s political demise? Millions would hope. YouTube: Wife Of Lobbyist For Russian Plant In KY Got Boost From Mitch McConnell

–Lindsey Graham Received Campaign Donations From Firm Tied To Russian Oligarch [MavenRoundTable]

–GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham received $800,000 from a Ukrainian-born oligarch with ties to Putin's inner circle.

–As President Donald Trump appears to sink deeper into legal trouble and special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation pushes forward, the relative silence of congressional Republicans becomes increasingly difficult to ignore.

–But apart from the obvious reasons conservative lawmakers might steer clear of commenting on Trump’s situation — party loyalty and fear of inviting a presidential Twitter attack come to mind — it is worth remembering that several noteworthy Republicans have Russia links as well.

    –Why is Giuliani supporting Trump?

–Jean-Francois Revel wrote “Unlike the Western leadership, which is tormented by remorse and a sense of guilt,”, “Soviet leaders’ consciences are perfectly clear, which allows them to use brute force with utter serenity both to preserve their power at home and to extend it abroad.” This is what sparked a love-fest for Putin’s tactics from Republicans immediately following his invasion of Ukraine. “That’s what you call a leader” said Rudy Giuliani. Rep. Hal Rogers (R-MI), who chairs the House Intelligence Committee, said that Putin was playing chess while President Obama played marbles. Being in receipt of illegal political funds…. Money Laundering!

Recently Indicted Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman face several felonies over their roles in various conspiracies and efforts to defraud the U.S. Federal Election Commission (FEC) by allegedly misrepresenting the source of funds and for unlawfully soliciting foreign campaign contributions.

Parnas made 20 identical contributions of $661.90 to the:

    North Carolina Republican Party

Parnas made a donation of $2,700 to:

    Candidate Trump
House GOP Minority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif)
    Pete Sessions (R-Texas)

Parnas also showered cash on various electoral organizations.
Vice President Mike Pence‘s Great America Committee received $5,000
The GOP’s “Protect the House” joint fundraising committee received $11,000 The National Republican Congressional Committee received $3,800
The Republican National Committee received $33,400
The Trump Victory PAC received $50,000

Fruman has been slightly less active in his exploits as a donor for the GOP but doubly maxed-out to then-governor and eventual Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) in May 2018. On the same day, Fruman donated $15,000 to the Rick Scott Victory Fund PAC. He later made two separate $2,700 contributions to Rep. Joseph Wilson (R-S.C.) in June 2018–one for the primary election; one for the general election.

–As Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team probes deeper into potential collusion between Trump officials and representatives of the Russian government, investigators are taking a closer look at political contributions made by U.S. citizens with close ties to Russia.

–Buried in the campaign finance reports available to the public are some troubling connections between a group of wealthy donors with ties to Russia and their political contributions to President Donald Trump and a number of top Republican leaders…In 2015-16 Blavatnik's political contributions soared and made a hard right turn as he pumped $6.35 million into GOP political action committees, with millions of dollars going to top Republican leaders including Sens. Mitch McConnell, Marco Rubio and Lindsey Graham.

–In 2017, donations continued, with $41,000 going to both Republican and Democrat candidates, along with $1 million to McConnell's Senate Leadership Fund..

An Iowa state lawmaker has said he is leaving the Republican Party because of his loathing of President Trump.

Rep. Andy McKean, 69, the longest serving Republican currently in the Iowa legislature, announced Tuesday he would register as a Democrat after being registered as a Republican for almost 50 years.

“With the 2020 presidential election looming on the horizon, I feel, as a Republican, that I need to be able to support the standard bearer of our party. Unfortunately, that is something I’m unable to do. I believe that it is just a matter of time before our country pays a heavy price for President Trump’s reckless spending and short-sighted financial policies, his erratic, destabilizing foreign policy, and his disregard for environmental concerns,” he said in a statement.

  35. JEWISH BILLIONAIRES WITHDRAW SUPPORT FROM GOP CANDIDATES Leslie Wexner announced “I’m no longer a Republican,” and that he will no longer support the Republican Party.[The Jerusalem Post]

–One of the largest donors to the Republican Party in New England, Seth Klarman, is calling on voters to support Democratic candidates in the upcoming elections, and he put his money where his mouth is. Klarman, who is a registered Independent and stresses that “I’m not a Democrat,” told New York Times columnist Barri Weiss on Saturday that he has so far this year donated $4.9 million to nearly 150 candidates, most running as Democrats.

–He said that by the election in November he will have spent between $18 million and $20 million on Democratic candidates.

–“We need to turn the House and Senate as a check on Donald Trump and his runaway presidency,” he said. “I’m stretching far beyond what I usually do,” he said of his planned donations to Democratic candidates.

–Klarman told Weiss that he “has been alarmed by Republican attempts at voter suppression, and by a president who demonizes immigrants and suggests that Muslims, Hispanics and blacks are second-class citizens.” He also said he feels “betrayed” by “spineless” Republicans who have, with rare exceptions, been “profiles in cowardice.”

  36. At fricking least she admitted that most of Bernie's policies are popular, heh. If she is correct though, then his wins might have a snowball effect, because if there really is a sizeable portion of people who would vote for Bernie but don't think he can beat Trump, and then they see him deliver an asswhuppin' on the other dems, they might well switch over night.

Right now, Buttgieg is scary, if he does well in South Carolina and Nevada, I'm sure the establishment will rally behind him. That's why
Amy Klobuchar gaining momentum is good for Bernie, I think.
I'm the most scared of Bloomberg though. Guy's a wild card with all his millions of dollars, who knows what happens on Super Tuesday.

  37. CNN is trash. Your bias is obvious. Not only are you driving people to donate to Bernie, you're also securing that those that are aware of your bias won't ever trust your brand.

  41. Warren offers the same health plan – the piece this journalist thinks explains these biden's lead. A "socialist revolution" doesn't necessary trickle down to women and people of color. We see time and time again women getting behind white male candidates and not so much as being tossed crumbs from the spoils.

  42. The other thing that hurt Fauxcahontas is that she couldn't claim to be the only viable female candidate, and let's face it, the feminist vote was her solid base.

  43. The election of Bernie Sanders as the candidate for the democratic party only shows that Donald Trump will undoubtedly become president of the US again. Good luck, Americans. In the next elections, you would be ask to vote for two idiots again. The only winners I see here are both Putin and Xi Jinping. They now know that America will be ruled by an idiot again.

  44. CNN ought to be ashamed of themselves trying to spin this away from the REAL FRONT RUNNER and that is BERNIE SANDERS 2020.

  45. CNN: Bernie has the most votes. And seems to be the most popular.
Also CNN: Don't vote for Bernie, vote for somebody who can actually beat Trump.

But what other candidate even has a chance? Definitely not buttigieg. Trump will grab him by the vagina and toss him in the trash can. . He is too weak. Elizabeth Warren is too fake. And the rest of the bunch are not even worth mentioning.

  46. I liked what I heard from Bernie during the campaign in 2016. As he showed caring for the common people. And concern for what really matters in the long run. I have not changed my opinion. I do hope his health holds out…

  47. What's that lady talking about? Bernie won the popular vote in Iowa and New Hampshire and yet she's saying that people aren't voting for him. What the heck is that?

  48. I've seen far better analysis on HillTV. Right now Buttigeig and Klobuchar have no path to the nomination. And the polls say that Sanders has the best chance of beating Trump over all the other candidates.

  49. Bernie won the hearts and souls of 90% of people. The rest of candidates won the 2nd and 3rd places to secure the big corporate (including CNN) money.

  50. The world is not ready for an unknown, gay president. But the country is not ready for a far left liberal government either….The Dems better get their ish together before November because Trump is an as*** but a popular one at that…..🤔.

  51. Good for Bernie. Let's him try a little bit of moderate socialism in America as long as it stays within the boundaries of the Democratic values. He is a good guy not a threat. The reason he is winning, well, he seems more resolute and aggressive when he tries to negotiate his agenda.
